Sports have a unique way of building bridges between human beings, and no sport no more so than soccer. Our soccer programs brings together youth from all different backgrounds to play in friendlies and tournaments on our grounds.
- Boys Soccer:
- Session: Summer 2015, Fall 2015
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Minimum Attendance: 12
- Objectives: To provide an environment in which basic soccer skills can be cultivated and practiced through training and practice. This program aims to provide participants with as much playing time as possible.
- Skills Learned: The basics of soccer (such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, ball-handling, goalkeeping, etc.) will be reviewed with participants of the program. Participants who require additional help in developing basic skills will be given individual and group training to impart a basic competency. An emphasis on cardiovascular development and building endurance will be applied to all participants. The majority of time spent will focus on team practice and competitive play.
